For the niçoise ABP Talentsspecialized in supporting professional and educational careers, this calendar meeting is already resulting in an intensification of activity. “There are more and more requests. We have had a lot of calls from families for two weeks“, confirms its president, Sophie Palacios. A movement that began well before January: from the fall, young people, often accompanied by their families, begin to plan ahead, pushed by the choices of specialties at high school and the constraint of “wishes” on Parcoursup. After a summer low marked at 1,000 connections, the attendance of the dedicated ABP Talents tool, Orientation Gamestarted to rise again from October (between 2,000 and 3,000 connections) to reach up to 6,000 monthly connections when Parcoursup opened, with a record peak observed in March, as the closing of the wishes approached (2024 figures).”We had 8,000 connections, with a lot of traffic in the last few days“.
I launched in November 2024, Orientation Game today constitutes one of the main entry points to the ABP Talents ecosystem. Free, fun and designed to be completed in seven minutes, the tool offers young people career paths based on simple and interactive questions. In a little over a year, nearly 50,000 connections have been recorded, a sign of usage that goes far beyond the local framework, with an audience distributed fairly evenly between ÃŽle-de-France, the Côte d’Azur and the region. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Internal statistics show a predominantly female audience, aged 16 to 18, but also a significant proportion (25%) of young people in post-baccalaureate reorientation. “As part of the Orientation Game, we are in the process of launching the second stage of the project by offering companies the opportunity to become our partners to be present on our job profiles“, specifies Sophie Palacios.
A growing market
Beyond this first level of access, ABP Talents structures its offer around two paid supports. The first, School guidanceis based on an in-depth assessment, The Great Bath. Inherited from a practice developed by ABP Talents over ten years but completely modernized, this formula aims to help young people identify their motivation levers, their centers of interest and the professions compatible with their profile. “We will work with them in particular on the discovery of their personality, to identify their motivation levers and which professions will be compatible“, explains Sophie Palacios, who recently co-hosted, within the UPE06, a sub-committee dedicated to young peopleorientation and discovery of professions.
In addition, for baccalaureate level students, Niçoise has been offering for two years theParcoursup discovery optiona specific brick dedicated to deciphering a platform considered ever more complex. The objective? Give candidates reading keys – admission statistics, matching between profiles and training, wish strategy, etc. – to secure their choices and avoid default orientations. This rise in power is part of a broader dynamic. Educational orientation now represents around 20% of turnover of ABP Talents and is progressing regularly, driven by the evolution of educational processes and the growing concern of families.
