With the aim of promoting an entrepreneurial culture in educational establishments, creating a true entrepreneurial environment within schools and placing students at the center of innovative activities, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 336/QD-TTg approving the “Support for student entrepreneurship for the period 2026-2035” program.

This program is part of the continuity of the human resources development policy focused on innovation, helping to promote a proactive and creative spirit, to strengthen the mastery of knowledge and technologies, and to promote the advent of a knowledge economy and sustainable development. Developed in perfect accordance with the resolutions of the Party and the State, it aims to stimulate a real transformation of the entrepreneurial culture within educational establishments.

Over the years, alongside education reform, entrepreneurship has gradually been integrated into the school environment through idea competitions and innovation support programs. However, reality shows that this approach still has certain limits. Many ideas remain at the competition stage, lacking a testing environment, connections to businesses and investors, and support mechanisms strong enough to turn into marketable products and services.

Building on this concrete experience, the “Support for Student Entrepreneurship 2026-2035” program aims to create a coherent and substantial entrepreneurial ecosystem within educational establishments. Schools should not only organize activities, but also establish clear support mechanisms, effective implementation channels, transparent service systems and evaluation processes, in order to harmonize the quality of entrepreneurial support.

It should be noted that the scope of this program has been extended to several levels of education. Thus, high school students gradually acquire knowledge and entrepreneurial skills adapted to each stage, linked to local realities and their professional aspirations. This demonstrates that entrepreneurship is not limited to academic studies, but must be cultivated from a young age through the development of creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Alongside the development of the ecosystem, the “Student Entrepreneurship Support Program 2026-2035” highlights the need to guarantee market access for start-up projects. Strengthening links between educational establishments and businesses, investors and local communities is identified as a key factor in bringing innovative ideas to fruition. It should be noted that the diversification of financial resources for school entrepreneurship is clearly defined.

For these directions to materialize, in addition to the mechanisms, policies and resources, the coordination role of state management bodies, in particular the Ministry of Education and Training, as well as the participation of other ministries, sectors and local authorities, are essential. The integration of start-up support actions into related programs and projects, the improvement of coordination mechanisms and the establishment of the resources and conditions necessary for implementation will help to guarantee its coherence and effectiveness.

At the local level, innovation in the organizational and operational design of educational institutions plays a crucial role. Schools and teachers are not only places for the transmission of knowledge, but also actors who support, guide and inspire the creativity of learners. An open academic environment, which encourages experimentation and accepts necessary failures, is essential for the development of innovative capabilities and a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit.

Therefore, the success of the “Student Entrepreneurship Support Program 2026-2035” will not only be measured by the number of projects or start-up models, but also by the dissemination of the spirit of innovation, capacity for action and adaptability among learners. When entrepreneurship is truly cultivated in educational establishments, the creative ideas of the young generation will find the conditions conducive to their development, thus helping to breathe new life into the country’s growth.
