BlueWeek 2026: Marseille becomes the capital of sustainable maritime innovation from April 7 to 10, 2026

The 14th edition of BlueWeek, organized by the Maritime Research Institute MARIN and hosted by the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Maritime (ENSM), will take place from April 7 to 10, 2026 in Marseille. This international event will bring together 150 participants – shipowners, naval architects, shippers, startups, and institutions – to share concrete solutions for sustainable and carbon-free maritime transport.

An ambitious program to rethink the shipping industry of the future BlueWeek 2026 offers a unique platform to explore the latest technological innovations and collaborative strategies aimed at transforming logistical challenges into sustainable opportunities. Highlights of the program: – Wednesday, April 8: Sustainable maritime transport & resilient supply chain – Public seminar: “Global Transportation: Out of Breath?” – How reliability, alternative energies, and decarbonization are reshaping supply chains in a fragmented global context. – Collaborative workshops: Concrete solutions to secure flows and transform challenges into opportunities. – Pitch for new collaborative projects – Exclusive visit: Discovery of ENSM and TANGRAM, the innovation center of CMA CGM (reserved for registered participants before Thursday, April 2).

– Thursday, April 9: Natural propulsion and zero emissions – Public seminar: “Propelled by the environment” – Direct use of wind, solar, and renewable energies for efficient navigation. – Seminar: “Zero Emissions: Less is More” – Reduce energy consumption and maximize energy efficiency through innovative technologies.

– Tuesday to Friday: Collaborative project meetings: Workshops reserved for members of Joint Industry Projects initiatives to accelerate the implementation of sustainable solutions. – Social activities and networking – Cocktail party at sea in the coves of Marseille (Wednesday, April 8, departure from Pointe Rouge – registrations until April 1).

An opportunity for the media and professionals BlueWeek 2026 is open to specialized media (maritime, logistics, environment) and professionals in the sector. Registrations are possible until the last moment, but social activities and technical visits require reservation (closing on April 2).

BlueWeek is an annual event dedicated to sustainable maritime innovation, organized in collaboration with industry leaders such as MARIN, Pole Mer Mediterranee, AUTF, BICEPS Network, Wind Ship Association, and the International Windship Association (IWSA).
