During the In Cyber Forum, which is taking place in Lille from March 31 to April 2, the Roubaix company OVHcloud, announces the acceleration of its activities in Defence in Europe. This dynamic is part of a context of increased digitization of armies and persistent dependence on non-European technologies. European armies are facing the digitization of operations, real-time processing, system interconnection, and the arrival of AI. Data and cybersecurity need to be strengthened.

Already present in the Defence sector, the company is expanding its solutions by relying on its internal expertise and deploying dedicated teams in each country, recruiting profiles from the armed forces and the defence industry. These profiles will need to design suitable architectures, support infrastructure modernization, integrate AI capabilities (fine-tuning, agentics), and meet the specific requirements of each environment.

“Defence now depends on the cloud, data, and AI. Europe can no longer afford to rely on non-European technologies: it must have efficient and sovereign alternatives. This is exactly what we are building at OVHcloud. After France, we will offer European-scale cloud and AI solutions, as well as expertise to support the transformation of armies and strengthen our strategic autonomy,” explains Octave Klaba, CEO of OVHcloud.
