Is Claire Chazal ready for love?
In an interview with Gala reported by Télé Loisirs, Claire Chazal discussed her love life. During the conversation, she mentioned that she can rely on a solid foundation in her daily life.
“I have friends. They are an important support for me,” she explained. “I like hosting them here, going out a lot with them, to the theater, to the opera, to the cinema. But there is still the loneliness of being human in the face of the end of life, in the face of death, and it’s daunting.”
This is quite a remarkable revelation for the sixty-something. Moreover, she wouldn’t mind finding someone to go through this stage of her life that can sometimes be challenging.
She confessed, “Loneliness doesn’t always suit me, and I don’t reject the feeling of love – I have experienced it. But love has become distant for me. That’s all I can tell you: it’s distant.”
Claire Chazal’s latest love story
While it seems that Claire Chazal is currently single, her last highly publicized romance dates back a few years. From 2007 to 2015, the journalist shared her life with the TV host and producer Arnaud Lemaire.
Their relationship sparked much conversation, especially due to the 19-year age gap between Claire Chazal and her partner. However, this age difference didn’t seem to be problematic for the star to handle.
In her book “Puisque Tout Passe” published in 2018, she explained why she fell in love: “I believe I have never met such a pure being. Arnaud has the innocence of a child, the blondness of an angel. […] With him, I felt that I was sheltered from lies and deceit.”
In an interview with Paris Match reported by Gala, she hinted at the reason for their separation. She mentioned “obstacles” such as “issues related to salaries and different social statuses.” But that’s not all!
She also mentioned “ways of life and concerns related to maturity, experience, which were not necessarily the same.”
