In women,Huppatz Island18 years old, reigning Australia/Oceania junior champion, confirmed her status as a revelation on the circuit. Already author of the best score of the competition (9.00), she won in the final against her compatriotSierra Kerrformer junior world champion. In waves of one to two feet, Huppatz made the difference thanks to a better selection and a final decisive wave in the last minutes of the heat. Kerr, a remarkable second, made an impressive comeback after several months away from competition due to health problems.

In men,Dane Henry19, completed an exceptional season by winning the biggest title of his young career. Already a gold medalist at the ISA Worlds and regional junior champion, the Australian won the final against the IsraeliNadav Attarauthor of an unexpected journey praised by the public. Henry thus becomes the fifth Australian to register his name on the WSL junior world rankings.
