After several days of speculation, Celine Dion took advantage of her 58th birthday on Monday, March 30, 2026, to officially announce her return to the stage. The singer spoke on France 2 to announce the event in person and to give an update on her well-being.
In front of the camera, Celine Dion delivered a speech, also posted on her social media. Seated on a couch, she first shared some news about her health. “I wanted to tell you that I’m really doing great. I feel strong, I sing a lot, and I even do a bit of dancing,” she explained.
The singer promptly thanked her fans for their support. “In these last years, there hasn’t been a day where I didn’t feel your love […] I miss you so much,” she expressed emotionally.
To celebrate her birthday, she stated that she is receiving “the best gift of my life.” She announced: “I will have the chance to sing for you, in Paris, starting in September. I am so happy, I feel good, strong, super excited, and I am so grateful to all of you.”
In the caption of her Instagram post, 10 dates have been announced for September. Presales are scheduled for April 7 and will be available after signing up on the singer’s official website from March 32 to April 2.
The superstar put an end to several days of speculation about a possible announcement of her return to the stage. Just a week earlier, several posters featuring her iconic songs were displayed throughout Paris. This caught the attention of her longtime fans.
France Televisions hinted on X, Sunday, March 29, 2026, that the event was imminent. A video revealing these posters, along with the date and time of an appointment on France 2, was shared.
These freshly announced concerts are a true event for the singer, who has limited her stage appearances due to health issues. She had also not performed in Paris since singing “The Power of Love” on the Eiffel Tower during the Olympics in July 2024. Her last concerts in France date back to 2017, making fans excited to see this period come to an end.
