Crews fought flames on Monday evening at a two-story building in Butler County. Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news helicopter, captured several fire trucks at the scene on South Main Street in Zelienople.
Butler County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that officials were alerted around 4 p.m. for a 2-alarm fire. Firefighters rushed to Flowers by M.E. in the local business district.
In a statement from the Zelienople Area Business Association, it was revealed that several other businesses were affected by the fire. The association promised to share more details in the upcoming days about the incident and those impacted. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Action News 4 is investigating further to uncover the cause of the fire.
