Engineer turned businesswoman, she is rethinking the connection between local technological skills and international needs. Her ambition is to make Senegal a strong player in the global digital sector.
Wedji Kane (pictured) is a data engineer and entrepreneur from Senegal. She is the CEO of LinkSenAI, an IT services company specializing in recruiting tech talents.
Founded in 2025, LinkSenAI focuses on recruiting qualified professionals in the technology and data fields, based in Senegal, to meet the needs of digital projects on an international scale. The company aims to showcase local skills by connecting them with organizations seeking digital expertise in Europe, particularly in France.
Key skills highlighted include report and indicator design, decision-making tool implementation, modern web app development, user interface creation, performance and security management, and cloud solutions deployment.
Meanwhile, Wedji Kane was the coordinator of SALTIS, the AI and Innovation Summit in Senegal (2025 edition). She also works as a data engineer at Carrefour France, after holding the same position from 2022 to 2025 at the international consulting and technology group Onepoint.
She is a graduate of the National School of Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, and Mechanics of Bordeaux (ENSEIRB-MATMECA), where she earned an engineering degree in telecommunications in 2021. She also holds a degree in artificial intelligence from Mines Paris – PSL obtained the following year.
