At 23 years old, Baptiste Peytavi, the sturdy Catalan second row (1.96m, 112kg) has just committed to the Ceret Sportif Vallespir, his training club.
A true product of Ceret, Peytavi was playing at Stadoceste Tarbais, but the Pyrenean club, competing in Nationale 1, has just declared a general withdrawal.

Former player from RC Toulon, USAP, Rumilly, and Ceret, Nicolas Bruzy, 51 years old and former coach of Thuir and Prades, joined the green and white club four years ago as a coach.
Recently settled with his wife and children in the village, he has just agreed with the board to remain at the helm of the team in 2026-2027.

Deux Catalans vice-champions de France
Silver weekend for two runners from the Pyrénées-Orientales.
Luisa Arabito (49 years old), also a former European karate champion, and Thierry Mignot (46 years old), secured second place at the French short trail championships in Bedoin (Vaucluse).
The two Running 66 members respectively completed the 29 km race in 3.03 hours (Arabito) and 2 hours 17 minutes (Mignot).

The P-O region shines by securing five podium finishes out of six possible at the academic level.
Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts school claims its first title and will compete in its first national final in June.
On the other hand, Perpignan Jeanne-d’Arc confirms its consistency with a second consecutive runner-up title after 2025.
And Jean-Jacques Rousseau school in Perpignan regains its place on the podium after its victories in 2023 and 2024.
