Emmanuel Grégoire, elected mayor of Paris last weekend in the second round of the 2026 Municipal Elections, wishes for an improvement in the relations between the city hall and PSG. The elected official also mentioned having a discussion with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi the day after his election.
While discussions were at a standstill at the end of Anne Hidalgo’s term, the election of the new mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire, seems to have reignited dialogue between the city and PSG. In an interview given this Friday to Le Parisien, the elected official mentions a renewed relationship with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
“The president of PSG called me as early as Monday morning and I was very happy about this call,” assures Emmanuel Grégoire. He announces wanting to decorate the Parisian players for their Champions League title: “I want to propose a decoration ceremony to the entire team for the victory in the Champions League and invite them this summer.”
“On the agenda of the exceptional Paris Council”
Regarding the Parc des Princes, and a possible future sale, Emmanuel Grégoire invites everyone to the upcoming weeks: “I want us to build together the future of the Parc des Princes in Paris and it will be on the agenda of the exceptional Paris Council in mid-April. I will probably go to the stadium for PSG-Toulouse or the clash against Liverpool.”
