According to the management report, the institution currently has 232 staff members (196 permanent and 36 contractual, in accordance with Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP), including a professor holding a PhD, 42 doctors, and 45 individuals currently preparing for a doctorate or medical specialization. Between 2021 and 2025, student enrollment has seen significant growth, with over 8,300 students admitted, representing an enrollment rate of 82%. The institution currently offers 22 undergraduate programs and plans to open courses in religious sciences and biotechnology in 2026. With 4,326 students, it contributes to the diversification of local human resources.

During the meeting, school leaders requested the province to continue investing in infrastructure and supporting the institution’s human resources; to establish specific policies to attract professors, associate professors, and doctors; to entrust the school with carrying out scientific and technological missions at the provincial level and to lead training on digital transformation and AI for officials across the province.

At the working session, officials from several provincial departments and agencies, as well as those from the provincial Party Committee and the People’s Committee, praised the efforts made by Tan Trao University in recent years in terms of training, improving the skills of human resources, promoting international cooperation, and scientific research, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the region and neighboring provinces. The officials from different departments and agencies responded positively to the university’s requests. As a result, issues within their respective areas of responsibility, as well as those of the province, will be addressed and facilitated to support Tan Trao University.

In conclusion of the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee requested Tan Trao University to strictly adhere, in the coming months, to the principle of democratic centralism; to fully understand and effectively apply Regulation No. 144-QĐ/TW on revolutionary ethical standards for Party cadres and members. He also asked the university to promptly finalize its organizational plan to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and to work towards realizing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of August 22, 2025 from the Politburo, in connection with the Education and Training Development Plan up to 2030, with a perspective until 2045.

The Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee asked the faculties and centers of the institution to urgently prepare detailed reports assessing the current situation and future operational orientations, and to improve the quality of education. He specifically requested them to carefully examine the process from student admission to final training, to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Education and Training on career guidance, and to analyze areas currently receiving investments in order to quickly develop precise implementation plans.

The Ministry of Finance is tasked with coordinating with the school to conduct a comprehensive review and evaluation of the current state of the land and facilities, and to report to the provincial People’s Committee.
