The WBB Challenge: Affordable Track Championship for 2026

A championship on the track that is affordable isn’t an impossible mission. In 2025, the non-profit organization WBB Racing Team celebrated its ten years. This year, the WBB Challenge starts its 4th season.

Originally, they were a group of road bikers. Quickly, the club shifted its focus to the track with the idea of forming a collective where friends compete on the track and come together. For this 2026 season, four spots are still available on the starting grid. “The uniqueness of our championship is that you will only battle on track against competitors who participate in the entire championship,” says Nicolas Rose, president of WBB Racing Team. “We naturally accept wild-cards, but these exceptionally present riders, even if they reach the podium in the race they participate in, will not have their result count towards the end of the season. The ranking is reviewed at the end of the race, and in the event of a guest rider’s victory, it’s the 2nd place that will take the 25 points for the first place.”

At Croix-en-Ternois, Carole, and Mettet, there are qualifications on Saturday and two races on Sunday. Every Friday, a track day is organized to allow the riders to have an extra day of testing the day before the event. In Germany, however, since we share the paddock with the German promotion championship at the Nürburgring and Hockenheim, there are practice sessions on Saturday and a warm-up on Sunday. Being a member of our club allows you to benefit from discounts at events organized by Inter-Track and Bikers’ Days.

The public will continuously enjoy different championships to admire every race weekend. For example, in the first round at Croix-en-Ternois, the WBB Challenge shares the paddock with the Benelux Trophy and the Twin Trophy. Other side events such as sidecars and the 50cc of the Dutch Freetech championship.

The organization is also looking for sponsors to support the season and participate in the shirt logos.
