A follow-up to Minecraft Dungeons, the dungeon crawler developed by the British studio Double Eleven in collaboration with Mojang Studios, has been announced for autumn 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. Simply titled Minecraft Dungeons II, this new game continues the partnership and will be available six years after its predecessor.

Just like the first game, Minecraft Dungeons II can be played solo or with others. On Switch and Switch 2, local multiplayer of up to four players on the same console and online multiplayer with the same number of players will be possible. In this sequel, players will confront a new threat ready to bring indescribable chaos to the world. Mojang promises a new adventure in action role-playing games, with forgotten locations and enemies from the forces of evil never seen before.

Minecraft Dungeons II will feature text in French, English, Spanish from Spain and Latin America, Italian, Portuguese from Brazil, German, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, simplified and traditional Chinese, and Swedish. The voices will be available in French, English, German, Japanese, Portuguese from Brazil, Spanish from Latin America, and Swedish.
