Retired from the media spotlight since 2010 and his film “How Do You Know,” Jack Nicholson is making the most of his well-deserved retirement. Whether forced or voluntary, this career ending allows him to enjoy his rich family life with six children. The American actor, famous for his roles in cult films like “The Shining” or “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” is no longer attending premieres or film shoots, but rather basketball games with his adult children. Rumors suggest that memory issues related to his age may be the reason behind his stepping back. Regardless, Jack Nicholson has had a very successful career. In the various interviews he has given, he has remained quite discreet about his private life.
Jack Nicholson falls in love with his cinema partners
Jack Nicholson has six children, Jennifer Nicholson, Caleb Goddard, Honey Hollman, Lorraine Nicholson, Ray Nicholson, and Tessa Gourin, born to five different mothers. He has had a tumultuous love life, marked by stable relationships and numerous adventures. He welcomed his first child, Jennifer, in 1963 with his then-wife Sandra Knight, whom he met on the set of the film “The Terror” in 1962. In 1982, he had another daughter, Honey Hollman, with model Winnie Hollman. Despite their separation, Honey Hollmann grew up mainly in Denmark with her mother. She followed in her father’s footsteps to become an actress. She once said, “My father has never been a stranger. When I was a child, my mother took me to see him and as I grew up, I went on my own. I think we have a normal father-daughter relationship.”
In the meantime, from his numerous fleeting affairs, his on-screen partner in the film “Five Easy Pieces,” Susan Anspach, claims that he is the father of her son Caleb Goddard, born in 1970. Jack Nicholson initially denied being his father but eventually accepted to acknowledge him, straining their relationship.

Jack Nicholson says he is very close to his children. The actor stated in Esquire in 2007, “If I had to list the most memorable moments of my life over the past decade or more, most of them would involve spending time with my children.” He continued, “I want to be a source of inspiration or a positive influence for them, without putting too much pressure on them.” Jack Nicholson is very close to Lorraine and Raymond. Together, they attend many Lakers games in Los Angeles.
