The archers of Diana-Sport-Arc, from Bar-sur-Aube, traveled on Sunday, March 22 for a competition in Beine-Nauroy, in the Marne. This meeting was marked by conviviality and sport. From the first flights, the atmosphere perfectly illustrated the values of the Ufolep (French Union of Laic Works of Physical Education): a subtle mix of concentration, leisure, and good laughs.
Participants were able to compete in a warm setting, thanks to the careful welcome from the organizers and the sportsmanship shared by all the present archers. In terms of results, the day was marked by the very impressive performance of Francine Grolier, who was participating in her very first competition. She stood out with a remarkable score, promising for the rest of her journey.
The podium also highlighted seasoned archers: Isabelle Van-Ryseghem who took first place, followed by Sébastien Bouchard in second place, while Régis Van-Ryseghem completed this winning trio. A successful day, confirming that these sports events are above all moments of sharing, where performance goes hand in hand with enjoyment and team spirit.
