The borough of Schaerbeek and the nonprofit organization Infor Jeunes Schaerbeek are organizing the Student Job Day this Wednesday, April 1st, from 10am to 5pm, at the communal school Fernand Blum.

Who will be present on site? Students can interact with Actiris and Trac Brussel for their job searches. On the professional side, the police and the army will present security and defense professions, while Infrabel will highlight opportunities in the railway sector. The Horeca sector will be represented by CDR Horeca Forma Be Pro. The world of sports, animation, and youth will be represented by Sport2Be, Toboggan, Interskillar, and Latitude Jeunes Brabant. The FAC Center and hub.brussels will complete the list of exhibitors.

A busy program The morning starts at 10am with a practical session hosted by Infor Jeunes on “Working as a jobiste.” At 10:45, a conference will address the question “What to do after studies?” At 11:30, hub.brussels will offer a workshop on student entrepreneurship to help young people start their own projects.

The afternoon resumes at 1:30pm with a second session on entrepreneurship hosted by HUB. At 2:30pm, the Mayor of Schaerbeek, Martin de Brabant, will visit the event. His visit is significant – he initiated the event in his previous role as alderman for Employment and Training. Infor Jeunes will then discuss post-study perspectives. The day ends at 3:30pm with “Meet your profession,” a session of direct exchanges with professionals from various sectors.

Additionally, a job search workshop will run parallel to the traditional CV workshop, focusing on online job searches and registrations with temporary work agencies.
