On Sunday, March 29, Iran denounced the American-Israeli bombings on its universities and threatened the United States with retaliation by indicating a desire to target American establishments in the Gulf.

For a month, the situation in the Middle East has been escalating. After the joint strikes on Tehran, Iran, by the United States and Israel, resulting in the elimination of Ayatollah Khamenei, the war has spread and claimed numerous victims. In a statement relayed on Sunday, March 29 by Iranian media, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards threaten to target American universities in the Middle East, following the destruction of two universities in Iran by American-Israeli strikes. Iran has also set an ultimatum for the United States.

“If the American government does not want its universities in the region to face retaliation, it must condemn the bombing of universities in an official statement before Monday, March 30 at noon,” it can be read. According to reports from Ouest-France, the United States has many universities in the Middle East, including a campus of the Georgetown Academy specializing in international relations in Qatar, as well as the New York University campus in Abu Dhabi.

“We must strike them where they are,” said a spokesperson for the armed forces in a television address. The spokesperson warned the United States that Iran is prepared to strike the hotels where American soldiers are housed in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Donald Trump continues to assure that the operation in Iran is progressing well and should soon come to an end.
