The Ondo State Government has praised the brave members of the State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, and other security agencies for their courage and professionalism in rescuing kidnapped victims in Akure South Local Government Area. The government specifically commended the leadership of the Amotekun Corps, led by Corps Commander Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, for their well-coordinated overnight operations that resulted in the rescue of five victims in separate incidents at Oke Ijebu and along the Oda-Akure axis.
The government also applauded the teamwork and cooperation among different security agencies, highlighting the importance of their joint efforts in the successful rescue operations. Emphasizing its commitment to protecting lives and property, the government assured residents that security measures would be reinforced across the state.
Residents were urged to help security agencies by providing credible and timely information, with an emphasis on the collective responsibility required to maintain peace and security in Ondo State.
