This beautiful large sandy beach is divided into East and West by the Anglesea River. It is accessed from either side of the river or Main Beach car park. A great place to play beach cricket or explore the exposed Fox’s Reef at low tide.

Rivermouth Beach East

Beach Emergency Access Number: 89W

General Warnings: Unstable Cliff Face, Strong Currents, Submerged Rocks

Life Saving Services: This location is not patrolled. Anglesea Beach located 500m to the West is patrolled by Life Savers, at times when the red and yellow flags are displayed at weekends and public holidays between the last weekend in November to Easter Monday and every day between 26th December to 26th January.

Rivermouth Beach West

Beach Emergency Access Number: 90W

General Warnings: Unstable Cliff Face, Strong Currents, Submerged Rocks.

Life Saving Services: This location is not patrolled. Anglesea Beach located 500m to the West is patrolled by Life Savers, at times when the red and yellow flags are displayed at weekends and public holidays between the last weekend in November to Easter Monday and every day between 26th December to 26th January.
