The Hornets feature some of the country’s well known and respected musicians. Singer song-writer Craig Horne together with guitarist Jeff Burstin from Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons and the Black Sorrows, will be joined by Wayne Duncan from Daddy Cool on bass and Chris Tabone from the Bad Loves on drums for a very special show at Wolseley Wines on Sunday February 26th at 3.00pm.
The Hornets have become a regular fixture on Australia’s blues and roots music scene for many years and have released five CD’s to rave reviews. They recently played the Apollo Bay Music Festival featuring Vika Bull on vocals and are currently recording their sixth CD for release later in 2012.
The Hornets have gained a regular following of devoted fans as a result of their many incendiary live performances with The Age naming them…’The best blues band in Melbourne,’ and the Herald Sun describing them as a band that…’demanded attention.
Come along on Sunday for a very special show!
The band will set the scene but to really get you in that cruizy Sunday arvo groove, you'll be needing to imbibe of some of our lovely wines and delicious pizzas.
