Join the Otway Estate Winery for a fantastic day celebrating Oktoberfest, with traditional German beer, music and food.
You can try their specially-brewed "Oktoberfest Lager", and enjoy hearty Bavarian fare such as giant pretzels, schnitzel, saurkraut, strudel and much more.
There is entertainment on offer, with the authentic oompah band "Alpine Cocktail" and the talents of the Volkstanz Gruppe Oberbayern slap-dancing group. Join one of the beer tastings with brewer "Hendo" or join in one of the fun activities through the day.
The fourth annual Otway Oktoberfest will be held at Otway Estate Winery and Brewery, just 2 hours from Melbourne. They are located at the foot of the Otways just 10min from Colac in Victorias south-west.
Come for the day and catch the train from Melbourne or Geelong and be met by the Oktoberfest bus. Or stay the weekend in Colac, with buses departing the train station at 11am, 12noon and 1pm, returning from 4.45pm.
