It was the local Angling Club that first tried to obtain some answers to these Fish Kill events. This so called “Natural Event” took place over the following time line:-
The Time Line of this event was as follows
- 1st Kill 13/09/2010, (5 days between )
- 2 kill, 18/09/2010 (13 days between)
- 3rd kill, 2/10/2010 ( 4 days )
- Main fish 4th kill , 6/10/2010 (17 Days)
The 5th kill was what we thought was the last kill occurred on the 23/10
There was however a 6th Fish Kill reported on the 15th & 16th of January this happened to correspond with release of water from Industry water into the river on the 12th…….Read more
