Artists and art lovers are invited to draw on their ideas, flare, skills and knowledge to help shape the 2011 High Tide Arts Festival.
As part of the preparations, local artists have already started drawing on their talents for the festival’s popular annual logo competition.
This year’s festival theme, Awakening the Senses, is sure to bring out the best in Surf Coast’s many talented visual artists; with $300, acknowledgement and their work on show to the whole Surf Coast as the prize on offer.
The logo needs to incorporate the festival’s theme; and will be used in posters, advertising, merchandise, programs and t-shirts.
Artwork can be submitted as A4 hardcopy or on CD as a high-resolution jpeg file; in grayscale and in colour.
Two meetings will be held for community members looking to get involved in the festival or present their ideas.
