Andrew Katos, Member for South Barwon encourages the community to support the 4th Torquay Froth and Bubble Literary Festival to be held on the 18-19th June at Torquay College, Grossmans Road, Torquay.
"I am delighted to be given the honour of opening the Torquay Froth & Bubble Literary Festival that brings so many acclaimed authors, poets, performers, illustrators and playwrights to Torquay this weekend", Mr Katos said.
Here is a taste of what’s on offer over the weekend.
Andy Griffiths, well know children’s author of the Just series, amongst others is coming! Just amazing!
Learn how to draw a dragon with Deltora Quest illustrator, Marc McBride!
An interactive play by Author of Too loud Lilly; a Winnie-the-Pooh musical by Wendy Grose and Len Vorster; story tellers, an interactive children’s poem, Children singing in Italian and screen acting.
For the ADULTS there are author talks, musical bush poetry, workshops on editing and publishing, Poet in residence from The Australian Poetry Centre, human library (one-on-one with an author), Electronic reader chat groups and book club followers are also catered for plus the second hand book stall and so much more.
Refreshments are available.
