Every Summer Sunday in February 5pm to 7:30pm at the Geelong Botanic Gardens
Come with friends and family and join us for our popular February concerts. There's great music to enjoy in a wonderful, exotic garden setting.
You may not be able to resist dancing on the grass.
All concerts will be held on the lawns near the Tea House so bring your own picnic, rug or folding chair and join in the wonderful atmosphere. The Tea House will have drinks and ice creams for sale and there will be a sausage sizzle.
This is a family friendly/pet free event.
This year tickets for adults are $15 and children are free.
Tickets can be pre-purchased through the Friends of the Geelong Botanic Gardens, or Geelong Perfoming Arts Centre.

Sunday 6th February: Soul Sister Swing
This group features 3 singers backed by keyboards and drums and they are appearing for the first time at Music in the Gardens. You will hear 40's tunes from the Andrews Sisters through the 60's to Aretha Franklin and Motown Sounds. Renowned for their infectious rhythms, superb harmonies and toe-tapping tunes, Soul Sister Swing have performed all over Australia and made TV appearances.
Sunday 13th February: Donegal Express
Offering a combination of well-known traditional Irish tunes, Celtic ballads with modern classics thrown in, you will be captivated by the ever-popular fiddles weaving in and out with various guitars, bass and percussion. Much loved by young and old.
Sunday 20th February: Hip Cats
Enjoy the memorable sounds and feel of the 50s from grassroots rockabilly through to the smoother crossovers of swing, rhythm and blues. Back by popular demand after a memorable concert in 2010.
Sunday 27th February: Geelong Concert Bands
After their first appearance and successful opening concert in the Geelong Botanic Gardens last year, the Geelong Concert Senior Band (with more than 50 of Geelong's top musicians) and the Geelong Concert Band (18 piece swing sensation) will present music from musical theatre, movie sound tracks, famous marches, big band numbers and modern day neo-swing songs.
