There will be some great SUP action in Torquay this Janurary.
The ROLA Victorian SUP Titles supported by VB and Power Balance will launch this summer at the protected corner of Pt. Danger (Cosy Corner) in Torquay.
Never before has there been a dedicated event in Victoria for Stand Up Paddle boarding, which has grown immensely in popularity over the last 5 years.
Surfing Victoria CEO, Max Wells, is looking forward to seeing the best SUP riders in the state go head to head.

The event will involve a Paddle Race starting at Bells Beach for the men and at Jan Juc for the Women and concluding at ‘Cosy Corner’.
The Bells to Torquay race is a winner takes all $200 cash prize along with product prizes for each of the placings in all other divisions.
Along with the Paddle Race, there will be Open men and Open women surf divisions that is based on a surf competition format as per Surfing Australia rules.
This will pit the best SUP riders in the state against each other for bragging rights and the claim of Victorian SUP state titleholder.
For those who are new to the sport or not ready to go head to head with the best SUP riders in the state, there is an introductory expression session for Open competitors and Over 35 competitors in both Men and Women.
