The very funny and heart warming Californian surf film STOKED AND BROKE will have its Australian premier on the opening night of the Surf World International Surf Film Festival, Torquay – Monday 27th December!
The festival will feature a wide range of award winning surf films and documentaries from around the world including STOKED AND BROKE, BOMBORA, DARK FALL and CAUGHT INSIDE.

Dark Fall
DARK FALL, this amazing award winning surf film by Alex DePhillipo will be a highlight of our surf film festival. The film also features 10 times World Surfing Champion, Kelly Slater, Cory Lopez, Andy Irons and a fantastic soundtrack.
Bombora
The iconic surf documentary BOMBORA will be screening at our festival on Tuesday 28th December. BOMBORA features great surfing and interviews with Layne Beachley, Mark Richards, Tom Carroll, Mark Occhilupo, Tim Winton and many others. BOMBORA has a rocking soundtrack featuring The Atlantics, Jet, The Cruel Sea, Hunters & Collectors and many more. The film starts at 8pm, doors open 7.30pm. A festival highlight!
Caught Inside
Wednesday 29th December at 8pm we will have a very special screening of the new award winning cult thriller CAUGHT INSIDE at the SWISFF. This amazing film shot entirely on location in the Mentawai's stars Ben Oxenbould and Peter Phelps. A great action film at the Surf World International Surf Film Festival.
Keep Surfing
We are very excited to announce our closing night film on Friday 30th December. KEEP SURFING by Bjoern Richie Rob will have its Australian premier at SWISFF. KEEP SURFING is a fantastic glimpse into the world of river surfing set in the heart of Munich. An amazing film to close our festival!
Event Details
Surf World International Surf Film Festival exists to showcase the the latest creative and cutting edge surf films and documentaries from around the world. The Festival runs for 4 days fom Monday 27th-Thursday 30th December, 2010. All films start at 8pm. Tix at the door.
The Surf World International Surf Film Festival is presented by the Surf World Museum, the largest surfing museum in the world located in Surf City Plaza, Torquay.
