According to Geelong Advertiser, METALLICA lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bass player Robert Trujillo were seen surfing at Bells Beach last Saturday (November 20). Jan Juc photographer Steve Ryan was there and took a few photos.

METALLICA's most recent run through Australia and New Zealand completed the two-year touring cycle behind the band's 2008 album, "DeathMagnetic", although the band may do some touring in 2011 and is confirmed to headline Rock In Rio next September.
METALLICA will release a nine-track live EP recorded in Nashville, titled "Live At Grimey's", on November 26
