The event will begin at 7am from Mt Moriac Reserve, passing through Bells Beach, Anglesea, Lorne, Deans Marsh and will finish at Mt Moriac Reserve by 5pm.
1,000 cyclists will be participating in this ride to raise money for United Way Geelong Region.
A Ride to be enjoyed by the whole family
The Ford Otway Cycling Classic will keep the original 1980 route and direction, with small modifications for rider safety and enjoyment. This community ride now includes a section which loops along the stunning Bells Beach.
The ride will give cyclists the opportunity to test themselves on Cadel Evans's favourite training hill (between Lorne and Deans Marsh), or simply take it easy and enjoy the scenic ride with friends and family.
This event raises valuable funds for the Geelong Region and promotes safety between drivers and riders.
